Design Services Terms

By booking design services with Hare Media, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help ensure clarity, consistency, and high-quality work for all clients.

Booking & Project Start

• All projects require a signed contract before work begins.

• Project timelines begin only after all required materials (logos, content, inspiration, etc.) have been received.

• If materials are not submitted within a reasonable timeframe, your project may be cancelled or rescheduled.

Payments & Deposits

• A quote or invoice will be provided before project start.

• Payment must be made before final files are delivered.

• Accepted payment methods:

  • E-transfer to info@haremedia.ca

  • Cash (in-person)

  • Online at www.haremedia.ca

Turnaround & Rush Fees

• Standard turnaround is up to 30 days, depending on project complexity.

• Rush requests (under 7 days) are subject to a $35 rush fee and must be approved in advance.

• Delays in providing required materials or feedback may affect turnaround time.

Revisions & New Requests

• All projects include 2 free revisions.

• Additional revisions are $5 each.

• A revision is a small change (e.g., colour, font, layout tweaks).
  A new request is a major change from the original scope or direction, and may require a new contract or quote.

Proofing & Final Approval

• Final proofs must be approved in writing (via email or text).

• Once approved, any errors (spelling, layout, etc.) are the responsibility of the client.

• Final files will be delivered after approval and full payment.

Deliverables

• Files will be delivered in appropriate formats for the project (e.g., PDF for print, PNG for digital).

• Working/source files (e.g., PSD, AI) are available for an additional $25 upon request.

• Clients are responsible for downloading and saving all files upon delivery.

Design Credit & Marketing Use

• Hare Media retains the right to display completed designs in portfolios, social media, and marketing.

• A discreet credit line (e.g., “Design by Hare Media”) may appear on printed or digital work unless requested otherwise.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a refund.

• No refunds will be given once work has started or final files are delivered.

• Projects cancelled due to non-submission of materials will not be refunded.
